Delivery, Packaging & Returns
Delivery Information:
The majority of our items are made to order by our goldsmiths and customised to your specific requirements, such as precious metal type, diamond/gemstone carat weight and finger size as such delivery times can be 4-6 weeks from the point of order. The estimated delivery timescale is clearly displayed in the description of each product page. This “made to order” approach allows us to create and supply beautiful jewellery of exquisite quality at highly competitive and accessible prices.
When you place an order we will provide you with a more accurate delivery timeframe by email in addition to the standard confirmation email. If you need your new piece of jewellery for a specific date or occasion, we will make every effort to accommodate this. Not 100% sure on your selection prior to ordering and need some advice?...
No problem. Samples can be viewed in person at our private showroom in Harrogate, North Yorkshire by appointment with a member of our expert team. Please check our appointment page for details.
I’m too far away from your showroom or I’m unable to travel?...
No problem. We also offer online appointments with the team by video call on various video calling platforms with our high-definition webcams. Please do not hesitate to contact us to book this service at hello@harrogatejewellers.com.
I’m still not sure…
No problem. The majority of our stunning engagement rings, eternity rings and beautiful wedding rings can also be ordered as samples. This is a chargeable service however the sample cost is deducted from your order value once we go in to production of your chosen final piece. Please do not hesitate to contact us at hello@harrogatejewellers.com for details.
Once your order is ready it can also be collected in person, by appointment only, at our private showroom. If you wish to make a collection appointment, please let us know at the point of order and we will be in contact to arrange this with you when your item is ready.
We use fast next business day delivery fully tracked services for all orders once your item is ready for despatch. Tracking information is always added to your order at the point of despatch.
We usually ship well within two business days from the point of order for items in stock.

Packaging Information:
Our jewellery is supplied in our stunning branded eco-friendly FSC certified gift packaging which is both luxurious and also kind to the environment completely free of charge. We can also upgrade ring boxes to other luxury styles on request.
Our outer shipping packaging is not only waterproof and protective but also discreet too if you wish to order an item as a surprise. We can also remove our company name from the sender’s address if required so please let us know if it's a surprise gift.
Returns information:
In the unlikely event that you do not love your purchase we have a 14-day return policy for online sales at HarrogateJewellers.com, which means you have up to 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with any tags still attached (if applicable), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
We keep highly accurate written and high-resolution photographic records to fairly, factually and honestly assess and compare against the originally supplied condition on the return of an item. If we find that the condition is not the same as at the point of sale a refund or exchange may either be refused or any loss in value deducted from any refund amount given.

If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label by email, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can resolve the issue and make it right.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Please note that size adjusted items from the originally supplied size and custom engraved pieces make our jewellery items non-returnable. This is because it is sometimes unavoidable to retain the original hallmark features due to polishing and the adjustment/engraving processes, however rest assured that we will attempt to retain as much of the original hallmark and other markings as possible if this aftersales service is required.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on gift cards.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. If you have a question about exchanges it’s always great to discuss this first. Please contact us at hello@harrogatejewellers.com with any questions.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
